Took this out in single-digit temps with just a base layer underneath, and the loft kept me warm without any bulk. Packed down small enough that my rain shell fit right over it when the weather turned.

The fit is spot on—roomy enough for a thick fleece underneath, yet it layers under my shell without that bulky feeling. Even with the hood cinched down in a bitter wind, I stayed warm and could still move my arms freely.

Took it out in single-digit wind chill and the down layer kept me warm without feeling like a marshmallow, and the cut is roomy enough for my fleece underneath while still letting a shell slide over smoothly. Packed it down into my bag for the climb and it fluffed right back up with no cold spots.
