The water tastes completely clean right out of the box, which is rare for a bladder. Three long trail runs in and the bite valve still seals tight with no drips, and cleaning takes me under two minutes every time.

Took this on a week-long backpacking trip and the water still tasted fresh on day five, which never happened with my old bladder. The bite valve is easy to clean and I didn't have to fuss with it once. Definitely sturdy enough for rough trails.
