The Vapor 2500™ is the smaller of our ultra-lightweight series of EMOD™ packs with a capacity of 2800 cubic inches. It is simply an attachment bag. It does not include a shoulder harness, hip belt, or frame. The Vapor is designed specifically around the Mainframe™ (Mainframe not included) , the Vapor Series is our most versatile and lightweight pack system. The 2500 has all of the same great features as our larger 5000 pack but in more compact, front-loading only arrangement.

External features include extended depth stretch pockets to retain drink bottles, spotting scopes, tripods, etc. The center front panel utilizes the same 140D two-way stretch material to create a zippered pocket for items requiring quick access. Camouflage options use 450D Aramid reinforced ripstop while solid colorways have 500D Nylon ripstop construction. Removable Duraflex HD 25mm buckles allow you to expand the pack from the frame and create a channel to carry meat bags or heavy loads close to body and center of gravity.

The Vapor series (both 2500 and 5000) are compatible with the EMOD Lid, which attaches to the Vapor and Mainframe system in 4 locations using quick-detach gatekeeper buckles . The EMOD Lid allows you to add additional capacity to the Vapor for smaller items and utilize the Lid to compress items between it and the top of the Vapor pack.

What material is the Vapor 2500 made from

The front pocket and water bottle pockets use 140 denier two-way stretch fabric. Camo options use 450-denier aramid-reinforced ripstop. Solid colors use 500 denier nylon ripstop. All fabric is treated with a polyurethane water-resistant coating. The Vapor uses removable Duraflex HD 25mm buckles and YKK zippers.

Packed it to the brim for a weekend trip and the 2800 cubic inches swallowed everything I threw at it. For how light the whole thing feels empty, the load capacity is seriously impressive. Just wish it came with the straps, but as an add-on bag for my bigger setup it does exactly what it should.
